Who is Alan Herbert and more Importantly

 

“What Do I Stand For”

 

My name is Alan Herbert, I’m 45 years old and was born in Welshpool, Powys and have lived there all my life until moving to Shrewsbury in Aug 2009 to move in with my then Partner of 6 years, Sue.

 

After leaving school like most people of that era I went straight into a job doing a variety of different things but ended up working in the finance industry working with Prudential and then later Allied Dunbar.  I enjoyed the financial industry, not only enjoying the thrill of making money but the fact I was helping  people with lifestyle choices and securing their families future. In 1995 I was among the top producers in the country and won a Caribbean cruise, the ship was solely chartered for Prudential and we were treated like royalty, that holiday stayed with me and it is only until recently I feel I can achieve that level of success again.

 

Over the years  I have also worked part time as an entertainer. I started singing as a young lad at school and still do so now. It was this talent that enabled me to look after my children full time when my first marriage failed but still earn an income. Over these years I was fortunate enough to work with Daniel O’Donnell, The Nolans, in their first heyday and even “the legendery” Jimmy Cricket.

So now I come to the present time, I married Sue in Dec 2009, we have 5 children between us, my children are growing up now and have jobs of their own so I decided that I have the time and motivation to devote to me and establish a career that will fit in with a new wife and children who only need me now for my wallett!!!!!

I have never forgotten that Cruise and the ethos that hard work brings good rewards. All my life I have been an approachable person and take great pleasure in helping other people and with the experience and life skills I have obtained I was looking for a new direction where these could be put to good use.
